Occam’s Razor by Assassins of Youth
It’s a bizarre time to embark on new projects.
Now that we have the obligatory acknowledgement of the worldwide pandemic out of the way let’s get to some good news, shall we?
San Francisco based label Silva Electronics has released a new EP from Assassins of Youth entitled Occam’s Razor. This is the first release from Assassins of Youth on the label headed by DJ and producer Michael Claus. Claus is also the founder of Sutro FM a staple for independent electronic music in the Bay Area.
Here is what Claus had to say about the new EP.
“These are very fast paced and high energy techno cuts that were digitized straight from the Tascam with very little post processing. The artist(s) have informed me that during these strange times, the shelter-in-place has given them the time and mental space to start going through the boxes of tapes from the past years that they have recorded and stored away in their closet. This is the first of a series of releases we have lined up for the coming year.”
